Gender of Nouns in Spanish

All nouns in Spanish have a gender, not just nouns referring to people an animals. This is important because in Spanish, one has to make the articles used to describe a noun, and the adjectives used to describe a noun, agree with it. Therefore, it is essential for all students of Spanish to learn how to determine if a noun is feminine or masculine. Below you will find a great video that goes over how to do just that.
